I am recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm who are looking to hire a Legal secretary to their offices in Sheffield within the commercial property team. Competitive salary offered along with an excellent bonus package.
My client is one of the largest leading law firms within the UK who are looking to recruit a Legal secretary due to their continued growth and expansion. Working for this forward-thinking firm, there is a pleasant working environment along with opportunities for progression and development.
As a Legal secretary, you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities which will include carrying out on-line Land registry and company searches, audio typing complex documents, diary management, assisting the team as well as administrative duties such as taking calls and messages, arranging meetings, photocopying and archiving files.
It is essential for successful candidates to have had at least one years' experience of working as a legal PA or secretary and to have worked within a commercial property team. Knowledge and use of Land registry is also essential to go along with sound understanding SLDT and property searches. You will report to 2 senior fee earners, show passion and enthusiasm for working within commercial property and demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. Ideally you will have a typing speed of 60 wpm.
