We are working closely with one of the leading firms in Nigeria for a strategic COO position. The firm are regularly at the top of legal rankings and they are looking to appoint a COO to help them with the next stage in the firms progression.
The candidate will be involved in providing leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the firm has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Set comprehensive financial and business development goals for performance and growth
Establish and maintain policies that promote firm culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the firm and the work of executives (IT, Personnel, Finance etc.)
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the Partners in all matters of importance
You will have proven experience as COO, Practice Administrator or similar relevant role, have a strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc and have Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing human resources, accounts, information technology, and legal.
