Contracts and Property Lawyer required to join a University based in the North East for an initial 3 month period, with the opportunity of a permanent position.

This role is a part-time role consisting of 2 -3 days and would suit someone who is looking for a bit of flexibility and the chance to be a part of a friendly supportive team. You will be adapt at working without supervision and able to be proactive and provide coherent advice to those without a legal background.

The role will predominately be contracts based and would suit a contracts lawyer who has some experience dealing with property matters. Duties regarding contract law may include, but will not be limited to:

  • JCT Contracts
  • MTAs
  • KTPs
  • Research and sponsorship agreements
  • Licence agreements, confidentiality agreements
  • Copyright and Intellectual property matters

Whereas the property law side of this role will consist of:

  • Negotiating sale
  • Purchase of land

Whilst previous university experience is ideal it is by no means essential, and this role would be perfect for an in-house contract Lawyer looking to progress their careers and further develop their existing skill set.
