Residential Conveyancing Lawyer sought within Lexcel-accredited practice in Essex.

The Role
We are now actively seeking a dynamic Residential Conveyancing Lawyer for a CQS accredited team in the Chelmsford area. Working initially within an experienced team to learn firm processes and systems, the successful Lawyer will then progress to one of the firms other branch offices to manage a busy and varied caseload of freehold and leasehold residential property transactions. Areas may include: sales and purchases; transfers of ownership; leasehold enfranchisement; remortgages and; advice on renting out property.

Keen to get involved with business development initiatives, the successful Lawyer will build and maintain client and referrer relationships and promote the services of the department and practice as a whole. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid residential property experience;
You will have excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will be IT literate;
You will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy;
You will have an aptitude for business development.
