In-House Commercial Construction Lawyer job with leading international employer of choice.

A market leading organisation, this international company offer services globally. This employer of choice in the City of Bath are seeking a Commercial Construction Associate with experience of reviewing contractual terms, to join their Commercial team, which is dedicated to dealing with contractual issues.

Your new role
This is a contracts focussed construction legal position, as part of a well-established internal legal function. You will be assisting the Global Commercial Director and will negotiate, draft and review a host of agreements and represent the company in contractual negotiations. You will ensure the completeness of contracts including warranties, bonds, novations, joint venture agreements and associated contractual documents and you will liaise with clients to provide support throughout the contracts cycle.

Additionally, you will build relationships with numerous relevant internal business units, becoming one of the primary points of contact for the business and enjoy aspects of management of the commercial team, including allocation of workload and monitoring performance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a 4+PQE lawyer, with a strong commercial approach and exposure in the construction/engineering sector. You will come from either a reputable law firm or relevant in-house environment, and be adept at advising a wider business on contracts issues in the construction industry, with strong commercial negotiation skills. You will have experience supporting commercial and business teams with contracts negotiation and you will come with a team mentality and commitment to customer care.
