An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate & Financial Institutions Baking Lawyer to join an in-house Debt Products Legal Team in London.
You will be leading on the technical aspects of real estate/property matters within the wider Commercial Real Estate business. You will provide advice on a range of lending activities such as leveraged real estate finance, development finance planning and environmental laws.
You must be a UK qualified Lawyer with ideally some cross-border (EU) real estate matters.
You'll need to have good sector knowledge across Development Financing, Affordable Schemes, PRS (BTR), Leveraged REF (investment), Retail (shopping centres), Office, Residential, Mixed Use and Student Accommodation transactions, Data Centres, UK Listed REITS and Corporates. In addition some skills and experience in construction procurement and able to advise on structured finance or long lease property investment, as well as accounting and tax implications for investors and counterparties, along with experience of reviewing landlord/tenant obligations.
