The firm acts for publicly listed and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity clients, as well as other business enterprises involved in large and complex UK and cross-border matters and transactions.

Due to department growth, the firm is seeking to hire a new Derivatives and Structured Products Lawyer to join their City of London base.

The department deals with both a transactional and an advisory practice and act for a broad mix of investment banks, asset managers, pension schemes, funds and corporates. You will deal with genuine derivatives work, the department is currently very busy acting for pension trustees and dealing with longevity swaps. They have just recently dealt with a major UK pension scheme on an insurance buy-out contract in respect of c.£2bn of liabilities.

This role comes with excellent prospects for progression.

  • You will be a Derivatives Structured Products Lawyer with between 1-4 years PQE
  • You will have solid derivatives experience, working for a UK based City, West End or Regional heavyweight
  • You will have a meticulous eye for detail and ambition to want to progress
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude is essential
