NEW ROLE - Senior Commercial Lawyer - Manchester

Experienced Commercial Solicitor required for role with market leading law firm, to be based in their Manchester office. Salary upwards of £55k.

Our client is a market-leading national law firm, who have an award winning and well-regarded Commercial practice. They advise an impressive array of bluechip PLCs, including many FTSE250 businesses, and institutional clients in relation to all their commercial matters, including: trade & regulation; commercial contracts; competition; procurement; technology; outsourcing and IP.

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 5PQE to the team in Manchester as a Managing Associate.

You will be a qualified Solicitor with a good general Commercial background, coupled with IT / Technology experience. You will take responsibility as an advisor on a range of small to medium complex projects, in addition to working in teams on larger IT and commercial projects across various sectors.

Ideally you will have gained your experience at a city, national or recognised regional practice, backed up by strong academics. A passion and flair for business development will be beneficial as the firm encourages lawyers to get out into the market and assist in marketing the team and firm. There are significant managerial and supervisory aspects to this role and although experience of this would be beneficial it's not absolutely essential.
