We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Legal Manager to join our fast paced Legal Department. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your existing skills in a highly professional environment where you will be fully supported to realise your potential.
Description
The job holder will report into the Legal Counsel and will manage programmes and initiatives affecting the property portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation. You will be responsible for general property work including managing the Group's legal titles and drafting leases, licences, wayleaves and easements. You will provide general advice and support on property related queries, providing a cost effective and efficient service to operational teams and staff. A key part of the role will also be assisting in the management of the Group's internal and external relationships, including those with legal providers.
Profile
With the ability to adapt easily to change, you will utilise your strong prioritisation and organisational skills to manage high work volumes with demanding deadlines. A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements. You will have demonstrable experience in a similar role as a junior solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a working knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practice.
