Legal Counsel

We are delighted to be working with a global cloud computing organisation based near Middlesex in their search for a permanent Legal Counsel.

Reporting into the Legal Director they are looking for a well-rounded Commercial Lawyer to sit within their mid-sized legal team.

The Lawyer will support the EMEA and Asia Pacific operations on matters including:

• Structuring, negotiating and drafting customer, vendor and partner contracts and agreements
• Advising the international leadership team on commercial risks in relation to sales opportunities
• Negotiating bespoke and complex contracts and advising on any potential risks
• Helping to build and support existing commercial relationships

To be considered for the role you should be a qualified lawyer with:  

• A background in general IT law and IT outsourcing – in particular IT/Internet technology
• A good understanding of cross jurisdictional issues when negotiating global agreements
• Strong transactional background – extensive general commercial contracting on sales and vendor contracts, software licensing & IP
• Experience in Europe and the Asia Pacific region would be beneficial
