Criminal Litigation Lawyer

LAW Absolute is exclusively recruiting to a Criminal Litigation Lawyer position on a permanent basis.

Our client is a Lexcel and IIP Gold accredited local authority shared service practice, who pride themselves on delivering a high quality service. As an organisation, they embrace change and innovation and are regarded as being extremely forward thinking with their approach. They are now looking to bring on board a capable and driven Criminal Litigation Lawyer.

The successful candidate will be required to carry a full caseload dealing with matters including, but not limited to; 

•           Conduct of criminal prosecutions including planning, environmental health, health & safety, licensing, and housing fraud

•           Advice and training in respect of criminal investigation and regulatory enforcement

•           Advocacy including contested trials in the magistrates’ court

Previous experience in criminal work is essential. Candidates with experience from both the public and private sector are encouraged to apply for this position. The role will be based at the London office, although the ability to work at the practice’s other office in the Home Counties is a possibility on an ad hoc basis.
