Our client, a nationwide law firm, is seeking an Education Solicitor to join their highly-regarded Public Law team. The role is offered on the basis of a 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract, to cover maternity leave for a permanent member of staff.

About the role

The Public Law team is highly regarded, advising high profile clients. The caseload for this role will include matters such as Judicial Review, Special Educational Needs, Disability Tribunals, disability discrimination, higher education, admissions and exclusions.

An active involvement in business development and marketing is essential in order to nurture and build upon the firm's existing network.

About the person

The Education Solicitor will be a UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.

It is essential that you can work on your own initiative and handle a full and varied caseload. Experience of supervision would be advantageous. Experience of Legal Aid working is highly desired.
