My clients are a respectable law firm in the Greater Manchester area; they are currently looking to appoint a Costs and Commercial Manager experienced dealing with multi-track Road Traffic and Personal Injury files.
The duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing forecast on profit costs
- Ongoing liaison with fee earners to ensure that billing targets are achieved
- Monitoring progress of cases and reporting findings to the Head of the Department
- Chasing outstanding Costs
- Drafting Costs Budgets
- Working closely with external service providers
- Attending regular meetings with Managing Director, Finance Director and the Head of Department
- Providing coverage for the Head of Department during periods of absence
It is ESSENTIAL that you have a minimum of 5 years¿ experience in a similar role.
The salary for this position is circa £45,000 but is dependent on experience; the firm also offers a generous bonus structure (up to £12,000 per annum).
