The firm have an exciting new vacancy for a Banking Lawyer to join their modern City of London office.

The firm are known for dealing with the highest quality work and the London office has 400 members of staff and they punch well above their weight. The firm really value work life balance and have a friendly, progressive and support team dynamic but handle a quality of work like that of much larger City firms.

The Banking department deals with an extremely interesting client base. The department has recently attracted some heavy-hitting Lawyers, some of which are from Magic Circle firms. They work closely with Local Authority, Corporate and Commercial, Institutional Investment and Charity departments. They have a varied practice, originally with a focus on social housing finance and property backed transactions in the UK, but more recently over a wide range of practice areas. They are well-known for dealing with some of the industry's most luxury, high-end developers. They have recently acted on deals as diverse as a convertible bond for student accommodation, financing for car park providers, funding for the acquisition of a petrol station chain, and government guaranteed PRS funding. Their wider finance team has advised clients on private finance transactions with a value of over £5 billion.

  • You will be a Banking Lawyer with at least 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit as to the amount of PQE)
  • This role comes with excellent prospects for progression
  • Experience of dealing with Developers of Housing Associations will be to advantage, but is not essential
  • You should have a good technical knowledge
  • It is essential that you have strong communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE plus an exceptional benefits package.
