Pensions lawyer of NQ – 3 years’ PQE is sought by the London office of this commercial law firm. The team undertakes a mixture of contentious and non-contentious Pensions work for employers and trustees of occupational DB and DC pension schemes. In the private sector they act principally for medium-sized to large employers, including a range of financial institutions, blue chip companies, PLC’s, multi nationals and charities across the firm’s key sectors. They also have a strong track record of providing Pensions advice to health sector clients which includes NHS Trusts and independent health providers. Typical work includes: drafting scheme documentation, advising on underfunding, scheme re-structuring , winding-up, scheme closures, pension aspects of TUPE transfers and corporate support work.

The role will offer the opportunity to have regular client contact. Qualified lawyers will currently specialise in Pensions law – our client will consider applications from candidates working in private practice law firms or in-house for Pensions companies. If you are Newly-Qualified, ideally you will have undertaken a seat in Pensions law (applications from Summer/ Autumn 2017 qualifiers are welcome).
