Commercial Solicitor with Data Privacy

Our client, a Top 200 national law firm in London is seeking a commercial solicitor with data protection and privacy experience as soon as possible initially for 6 months with the potential to extend further. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing commercial team following an increase in instructions from the firm's clients.

The successful individual is likely to be a commercial lawyer and have upwards of 4+ PQE with previous hands-on experience of advising on and leading data protection projects which is a key requirement, including experience of advising on international data transfers, drafting privacy policies, procedures and notices, negotiating and drafting data processor agreements, conducting audits and delivering training and advising on marketing issues. An awareness of, and good understanding of upcoming regulatory changes in the data protection sphere is required.

Previous experience of working in a financial services sector and regulatory environment is an advantage, but is not essential.

The firm is open to individuals seeking a flexible working arrangement with at least 2 days in the office and the remainder working from home. This is a client facing role so you will need excellent communication skills, and be keen to building strong client relationships.
