Description

The successful Group Compliance Director will roll out of global compliance program and implementation management, including the tracking of specific projects and initiatives across multiple countries within the Group.

Promotes compliance obligations across the business and works with the legal department, other functions and senior management to identify, investigate and resolve compliance issues as appropriate.

Monitors and modifies compliance policies and procedures to meet legal, government, industry and/or company requirements and standards of best practice.

Interface with internal and external resources to keep aware of legislative and regulatory developments which affect global compliance issues

Complete due diligence in connection with M&A and other corporate/commercial relationships.

Profile

The successful Group Compliance Director will have:

-experience in risk management and managing compliance programmes.

-experience in managing junior compliance professionals.

-experience in leading internal investigations and reporting to senior stakeholders.

-good understanding of the legal framework surrounding anti-bribery and corruption.
