Financial services arm of 'household name' requires a lawyer to join its West London office.
As one of two lawyers in the organisation, you will be an integral part of the business and be responsible for a wide range of legal work.
The work will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a very broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, IMAs, contracts and custody agreements. It will also involve wider corporate and governance work and covering other legal and risk issues as required, working closely with the compliance and company secretarial teams.
A solid academic and legal background is essential. Our client will consider people coming from a wide range of financial services backgrounds including insurance, general financial services, pensions, banking or asset management/funds. Experience in the financial services industry would be helpful in this position however it isn't strictly required if people have an interest in the area and a good grounding in commercial law.
