THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an ambitious Solicitor with additional PSAR status to join our clients’ growing team in Peterborough. Conducting advocacy in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, you will be representing a variety of clients. You will prepare cases for trial and liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service and courts, drafting briefs and instructing counsel. The successful solicitor will take on a diverse caseload, including preparation of bail applications and statements, collating evidence and advising clients that are in custody. You will deal with a vast assortment of cases ranging from motoring offences through to very serious crimes up to trial and beyond where necessary. The firm offer excellent training and support to assist in career progression.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be a qualified Solicitor and Police Station Accredited Representative.
You will have experience liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service and local police.
You will possess outstanding technical and organisational skills with a dedicated and professional approach.
You will be competent in a wide range of legal services.
You will display considerate and sensitive care when representing vulnerable clients.
You will be keen to take on an array of cases.
