Legal Counsel - 12 month FTC

Your role is to provide oversight to the legal aspects of the business, in order to ensure that they conform to the required legal and financial guidelines, as well as maintain standards of corporate governance. You will be required to provide legal advice and assistance to the business, manage and mitigate risk with the business , as well as draft a wide range of legal contracts and documents for stakeholders, including software licensing, general commercial, technology, general terms and conditions, data protection and corporate matters. You will provide oversight and advice on key legislative and common law developments affecting the business, as well as assist with the planning, coordination and preparation of agendas and papers for Board and Committee meetings.

Being a UK qualified lawyer with at least 3PQE+, with relevant experience gained ideally from within either a financial services or similar, highly regulated environment, you will have a commercial grounding and have an understanding of commercial law. Those with experience of the investment and wealth management industry would be of great interest,

Working within a small collegiate team, you will enjoy a varied and broad spread of work. There is scope for the role to become a full time position , as well as for you to work either part time, or remotely (once a week), depending on your circumstances.
