Contentious Construction associate

Our client is currently looking to expand their construction and projects team. As a result, they are looking for an associate contentious construction lawyer to join the team. As an associate, you will be working on a number of construction disputes and cross border disputes in the infrastructure, construction and energy sectors.

To be successful in this position you will competent in the following areas

* Law degree or equivalent;
* Excellent analytical skills;
* Excellent drafting skills;
* Good interpersonal and consultancy skills;
* Able to build strong relationships;
* Excellent knowledge of construction law;
* You will be around 2-5 years' qualified, however, they will accept applications that are outside of this remit;
* Experience of handling UK and Internationally based construction disputes preferably in a firm known for its construction expertise;
* Be able to effectively participate in business development - this is an important part of the role and the firm likes all associates to participate, so the ability to do this well is key.
