An exciting new home working opportunity (part home working/part office based) has arisen for a highly skilled Residential Conveyancer, supported by a leading, specialist Residential Conveyancing practice in Leeds city centre. Our client is an independent and award winning practice that prides itself of high levels of client care, quality service and offers a real family feel to all its employees. The opportunity to work from home is a new venture for them but one in which you will have all the necessary support at your fingertips.

The firm has been built upon the ethos of a personalised, customer centred approach delivered by a team of expert property professionals whose reputation is at the forefront of residential conveyancing in the region.

The Role

- These vacancies has arisen due to an increase in work and referrers and you will be joining a very busy prosperous department.

- Ideally, you will work from home some of the time but also be able to come into the office a 2-3 days a week. You will be supported by a assistant who will work on-site but will remain in close contact with you.

- There will be some flexibility surrounding your working hours so the role would be perfect for someone with personal commitments such as childcare.

- The conveyancing role will require the successful candidate to deal with a varied residential conveyancing caseload from start to completion.

- You will also be responsible for carrying out investigation of title, producing property reports, updating referrer websites and completing registrations in addition to any other relevant task associated with a Conveyancing transaction.

- The practice is very pro progression and training and they are happy to develop any skills gap in your technical skills. They will also fund your CLC certificate if you are a Licensed Conveyancer.

The Candidate

- Working largely unsupervised, it is essential that you have a depth of experience of Residential Conveyancing at Fee Earner level. Your application would stand out even further if you were a Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.

- You will be capable of dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and those able to also deal with new-build work, all aspects of freehold and leasehold properties and ideally shared equity schemes will be particularly attractive.

- You will be used to dealing with clients referred by introducers, agents and brokers and you will have full case ownership from start to finish. Customer and client care is paramount.

- All candidates will also have good IT skills as well as ideally experience of working with a case management system , particularly as you will be working independently from home some of the time.

- This would suit a Conveyancer working further afield but would be happy to commute to Leeds part of the week.

The Benefits

-Competitive salary

- Free parking on site

- High quality work

- Opportunity to work from home
