Commercial Property Solicitor

A top, national law firm is currently seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its team based in their Leeds office. Our client, who are one of the UK's leading law practices, offer services to both the commercial and the private client across a wide range of areas. They had record breaking annual turnover for the last financial year and so are looking to recruit a self-motivated Solicitor into their Commercial Property team.

The working environment at the firm is vibrant and friendly and the Real Estate team are very close knit. The firm looks after its staff incredibly well, they are very sociable with plenty to get involved in. This role would really suit someone looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role:
You must be able to hit the ground running with your own caseload of Commercial Property files under minimum supervision.
This will cover a broad range of Commercial Property files including development, retail, landlord and investment work.
Joining a small but successful team, personality is key and they are looking for the right candidate who can slot in easily with enthusiasm for the role.
There will be the opportunity to take on some Business Development work in this role.

The Candidate:
It is essential that you have a depth of experience in Commercial Property work and can hit the ground running with your own caseload under minimum supervision. Ideally the firm are looking around 2-5 years PQE but they understand how difficult it is to appoint at this level and are happy to look at people who have had strong training seats and are just about to qualify.
As mentioned before, personality is key and those with a demonstrable team spirit are encouraged to apply, they really want someone who will get fully involved within the team and with their clients.
Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this role as is an entrepreneurial mind-set because you will be encouraged to take part in Business Development and networking.
