Our client is seeking a Lawyer / Legal Counsel / Solicitor with experience in trustee and depositary services for various funds types including investment trusts, UCITs and private equity and real estate funds to join their securities services business
This Lawyer / Legal Counsel / Solicitor role will involve:
- Legal advice in relation to all trustee and depositary services for funds such as Real Estate, OEICs, UCITs, investment trusts and PE funds
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts including distribution agreements
- Working with front office teams developing new products
The ideal Lawyer / Legal Counsel / Solicitor candidate:
- Lawyer / Legal Counsel / Solicitor with 2+ PQE* with experience gained in-house or with a leading private practice firm in securities services or funds.
- Funds or securities services experience essential with securities lending, derivatives and securities finance.
- Knowledge of AIFMD and UCITs V
- Confident managing external and internal clients
*Candidates outside of this bracket will be considered if they are able to demonstrate the prerequisite experience required.
