RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LAWYER

THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and driven Residential Property Lawyer to join our clients’ well-regarded practice in Luton. Becoming part of a specialist team, the successful Lawyer will work closely with senior lawyers on all types of residential property matters. The caseload will potentially involve: freehold and leasehold conveyancing, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, Rights to Buy, Shared Ownership Schemes and lease extensions. In addition, the ideal Lawyer will play an active part in business development and networking, ensuring the further growth and success of the department and firm as a whole. The successful candidate needs to have strong supervisory/management skills and the proven ability to direct and coach staff to increase their knowledge and experience.

THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Commercial Property department;
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise;
You will be commercially aware with first class client care and communication skills across all levels;
A flair for business development would be highly advantageous;
You will need strong supervisory/management skills and the proven ability to direct and coach staff to increase their knowledge and experience;
Business contacts would be desirable but not essential.
