A leading global banking institution is currently looking to recruit a Repos Negotiator to join their well -established team. Reporting to the Head of the division you will be involved in:
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of market standard repurchase and stock lending documentation such as 1995, 2000 and 2011 GMRA, 2000 and 2010 GMSLA and related tri-party documents as well as related bespoke confirmations
*Liaising with the Credit, Treasury, Operations and Tax departments as well as sales and trading personnel in a number of regional offices as part of the negotiation process
*Reviewing of legal opinions on the netting enforceability for repo and stock lending master documentation and ability to liaise with external counsel
*Drafting amendments, novations, terminations of master documentations
*Respond to various internal queries on master documentations
You will have at least 3 years' experience in a financial institution negotiating master agreements and may or may not be a qualified lawyer. You will also have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the bank.
