Head of Clinical Negligence

An award winning regional firm is looking for an enthusiastic Solicitor to head up its Clinical Negligence department based in their Leeds office.

The firm has offices all over the country and has a strong presence in the market. The Leeds office is based in the heart of the City Centre making them easily accessible and in a fantastic location. This well-known law firm is highly ranked in the Legal500 and is well respected within the sector. They have a brilliant reputation for handling exceptionally high quality work as well as delivering a fantastic service.
The role:
The firm is looking for someone to manage their National Clinical Negligence team.
Whilst leading the team you will be responsible for fee earning as well as coordinating and driving the team's business strategy and development.
Existing caseload of claimant clinical negligence files to run with alongside being a key driver in developing work going forwards.

The candidate:
Our client is ideally looking for someone who has at least 5 years PQE or above, however this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level.
Previous experience in dealing with birth injury claims and cases of the utmost severity is desirable but not essential for the role.
Strong marketing and business development skills are a must as there will be plenty of opportunity to develop work for the team
