Conveyancing Solicitor

Our client, a highly regarded and well established firm with offices over Yorkshire is looking for a qualified Conveyancing Solicitor around 5 years PQE to be based in Sheffield.

You should have handled your own caseload to include sales, purchases, shared ownerships, leasehold flats, new builds, remortgages and transfers of equity. Preference will be given to candidates who have gained an understanding of the CQS accreditation.

As a Conveyancing Solicitor, your duties will include the preparation and summarising of legal documents as well as drafting and negotiating transactions. The workload will be varied therefore it would be advantageous if you have experience of being able to manage a full caseload.

You should be keen to assist in the growth of both the department and firm and get involved in a range of marketing and business development initiatives. The ability to get out of the office, win work and market for the team and the firm are essential qualities in the modern legal services market and as such it would be an advantage if you have experience of identifying and developing marketing opportunities.

You will need to have the ability to prioritise your workload and be able to work to and meet deadlines, whilst having an excellent eye for detail and a concern for quality and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will already be working as a Conveyancing Solicitor and will be looking for a move to well regarded and established firm for the foreseeable future. Overall you should be motivated, flexible and enthusiastic and be keen to assist with legal and regulatory issues. The salary is competitive in line with experience and there is a benefits packing on offer as well.
