Award winning Funds & Corporate Team in Hong Kong are expanding and seeking an Associate with 3-6 years post qualification experience to assist on an extremely diverse spectrum of British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands law related issues. The role offers an exciting opportunity to an ambitious and hardworking associate to join a growing team in an international law firm with an excellent reputation.

Requirements:

  • Essential that the Associate is ambitious, hard-working and a good team player.
  • Must be 3 - 6 years PQE in general corporate, M&A, finance and/or funds related work from a well-regarded onshore or offshore firm. 
  • Essential that the Associate be England & Wales, Australia and/or New Zealand admitted.
  • Good grounding at an international law firm.
  • Good interpersonal skills, willingness to take part in business development activities and initiatives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Sound academics i.e. minimum equivalent of 2.1 LLB from a top University.
  • Experience of working in HK/Asia is preferred.
