A fantastic new, senior role with a major Energy + Utilities provider.
Client Details
A well known, major Energy + Utilities provider based in the South West.
Description
The Principal Solicitor will take on responsibility of a team and report into the General Counsel. responsibilities will include:
- Take the lead on major project based contractual negotiations
- Work cooperatively with the other Principal Solicitor in providing detailed and effective legal and commercial advisory support on major projects and transactions
- Support the General Counsel on key strategic decisions
- Supervise + directly manage junior members of the team
- Liaise directly with senior stake holders and executives.
Profile
Suitable candidates for the role of Principal Solicitor will have the following skills + experience:
- UK Qualified Solicitor.
- Ideally a minimum of 8 years PQE
- Exstensive experience in major corporate / commercial transactions is essential.
- Experience of the Energy sector is highly desirable.
- Experience in personnel / team management would be beneficial but not essential.
