Hays Legal Recruitment are pleased to work with a well know retail brand name to recruit a Commercial Lawyer in Basingstoke. The role is exciting, demanding and high profile and is designed to attract an experienced legal professional to offer continue support with in the large and established Legal Services Department.

Your new role
This role will be heavily involved in the commercial activity of the business covering specialisms such as Marketing, IT, Digital, Data Protection and Consumer Expectation - the work is varied and demanding. There will also be a considerable remit for commercial contract work and drafting as you might expect within the context of a in house role.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an exceptional In House Lawyer probably with 1-3 years PQE with some exposure to commercial law. The role is based in Basingstoke with some travel into central London. You will be a determined character who is used to leading by example, is self motivated, credible and professional. Communication will be 2nd nature and you will be ambitious and driven by success. Your background will be considered both from general practice but also in any previous In House roles.
