In line with their continuing growth our client are a large well know HR consultancy looking for a strong Analytics professional to help with strategic workforce analytics consulting to a number of their key clients across Consumer Markets, Telecoms, Media, Technology and the Leisure industry. We are keen to look at individuals who may not come from an HR/consulting background but have a strong background in being able to set up an analytics function from scratch in order to help drive HR MI and Workforce Analytics throughout the organisation.

Role description:

  • Operational Workforce Planning - Evidence based planning and forecasting to optimise the number and mix of workforce resources deployed to meet demand for services. Forecasting resource requirements within a trading year and address scheduling requirements intra-day.
  • Workforce Optimisation - Application of analytics and technology to measure and improve productivity rates and cost of delivery through better utilisation of the right resources doing the right things at the right times. Experience of managing/providing solutions to identify alternatives to consolidate and improve terms and conditions of employment, support TU negotiation, compensation and workforce engagement challenges.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning - Evidence based planning to forecast the number and skills mix of resources required to meet service demand requirements over a typical 3-5 year business horizon. Use of analysis and planning tools, to develop scenarios of business outcomes and corresponding long-term workforce plans.
  • Workforce Analytics - Application of advanced data analytics on workforce data, derive actionable insights to improve business performance. Delivering workforce KPIs, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis. Presenting valuable insights to inform workforce strategy and HR initiatives.

Key requirements

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of a B2C advisory project, working closely with colleagues from areas across Management Consulting
  • Manage a small team of consultants and/or facilitate client teams
  • Provide specialist Workforce Intelligence advice and work closely with the client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
  • Manage quality/risk issues and suggest solutions.
  • Contribute to business development, including working with B2C key account teams to scope opportunities or developing compelling and winning proposals which wow our clients
  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, thought leadership papers and to the practice more generally

Required Skill and Qualifications

  • Candidates should have strong commercial acumen, hunger to learn and develop and be able to thrive in a really fast paced working environment.
  • Recent delivery and business development experience within a consulting environment or transformational change experience from industry
  • Experience in the B2C Sector is preferable
