Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance/Commercial Contracts

You will advise all levels of management, including senior managers across all group functions on relevant law.

Provide advice and support which is which is accurate, compliant, pragmatic and commercial advice across a broad range of legal issues, which will include:

• the review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide range of complex commercial trading contracts with the Group's business clients and suppliers;
• the review and approval of a wide variety of consumer documentation including terms and conditions, marketing promotions and web copy.

The role provides support predominately to the UK business teams, but may also involve supporting colleagues in relation to other European countries from time to time.

You will also be required to (but not limited to) draft and negotiate accurate, comprehensive contractual documentation to a high level of complexity, in collaboration with clients, suppliers and business partners.

Advise on various areas of the law, including consumer protection, general commercial issues, insurance law and regulation and e-commerce.

Provide strategic advice on legal/legal compliance issues affecting the Group and its individual companies.
