I am working with a software company that specialises in data analysis, to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to work on projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You'll be part of an organisation whose revenue has increased year upon year, leading to them being acquired by another global organisation.

A majority of the work will incorporate software licensing agreements, therefore extensive experience within this field is imperative.

You'll also need to be particularly business savvy as you'll be focusing on procurement deals and key purchases for the organisation.

Although colleagues are based across several global territories, the team is a very close knit unit, with regular face to face meetings scheduled to improve communications and relationships. For this reason, our client requires someone to have a great interest in software and technology, ensuring projects and deals are completed within deadlines while keeping all stakeholders involved satisfied.

On a day to day basis you'll be left to work very autonomously, building relationships and interacting with the global sales team, maintaining and updating the status of deals, negotiating and drafting agreements and escalating commercial issues as and when required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiating and drafting skills suited to a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses a working understanding of software licensing and common commercial contract negotiation issues that arise during negotiation.
  • Works efficiently, independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Works effectively with the Sales team, legal and opposing counsel.
  • Undergraduate degree and experience as a contracts manager, negotiating software licensing and services agreements on the sell side of the business.
