Legal Counsel

A leading private equity/family firm is looking for an ambitious, talented legal counsel to join their fund, and work on corporate & investment law, as well as get significant exposure to buy-side and investment topics, and support the deal team on ad-hoc due diligence topics. The right candidate has a background in law, several years of experience in (financial) law, and a strong interest in Venture Capital/Private Equity. You're keen to make a career move to in-house, and potentially to the buy-side in the long term. You are interested in working across a varied portfolio on a range of legal and business topics.

• Support the investment team on ad-hoc analysis and other investment associate tasks
• Liaise closely with the fund's lawyers to ensure the deal is executed properly
• Work together with the investment leadership team to ensure smooth negotiations during the closure of the deal
• Be willing and flexible to work long hours, and travel extensively internationally (both US & Asia)
• Support on the creating, drafting and structuring of legal documents for the deal to be executed
