Competition Litigation - Excellent progression on offer
I am working with a top 50 UK law firm who are very highly rated by all legal directories for their work in the competition sphere. One particular partner in this team is very strong and well known for contentious competition work. He is now seeking to bring in an associate to focus on such work and help build the practice out. There is therefore a very good platform for an ambitious and reliable competition lawyer to come in and make a name for themselves.
This team offers a cross-practice service. They are experienced in market investigations, cartel investigations (including dawn raids) and more general competition litigation (such as follow on damages actions). On offer here is an excellent quality of work and strong prospects for progression, but as part of a relaxed and progressive law firm who place an emphasis on work/life balance. Having won various Law Firm of the Year and other similar awards, it is a fantastic place to work.
To be considered for this role you should have some experience in contentious competition work. They are open to considering general competition lawyers who are looking to focus on disputes work, or indeed general commercial litigators who have had some competition/antitrust litigation experience. This hire will have the freedom and flexibility to pick up some non-contentious matters as well should they wish to, but the main focus of the role will be on disputes work.
