Private Client Paralegal

Our client is a leading and award-winning international commercial law firm with offices in the UK and overseas. The firm delivers advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum, from non-contentious advisory and transactional work, to all forms of commercial litigation. They act as a trusted adviser to a wide portfolio of clients across a wide range of specialist sectors: from transport and logistics and international trade, through to retail, insurance, marine, health, education, manufacturing, public sector and banking and financial services.

They are currently recruiting a Paralegal to join a small, niche, private client team; led by the highly regarded Head of Department. The teams clients are described as high net worth; successful entrepreneurs, business owners, trustees, executors as well as individuals of independent means. The main area of work will be advising mid to high end net worth individuals on succession planning; involving drafting and advising on wills, trusts, powers of attorney and drafting complex related documents. This is a hands-on role with great scope for promotion. As it is a small team the successful candidate will be working very closely with the Head of Private Client who will provide both a sounding board and support for their development within this role.

Candidate requirements

*Demonstrable experience and good foundation of preparing wills, power of attorney and basic trust and estate administration

*Experience of drafting complex documents

*High attention to detail and accuracy

*Commercial awareness

*Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines and under pressure
