Legal Counsel

The Company :

Our client, a leading international luxury retail and jewellery business are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join their small and collegiate team.

The Role :

As the Legal Counsel you will support the Head of Legal on a range of legal and commercial matters. You will draft and review high value commercial agreements, whilst advising stake holders on ad-hoc legal issues. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Negotiating, drafting, & reviewing contracts including IT/technology agreements, license, marketing and sponsorship.
• Providing advice on legal issues relevant to all areas of the business including intellectual property, marketing, content and general commercial aspects
• Staying abreast of legal developments affecting the company, and provide suggestions for incorporating it into the company's practice
• Overseeing contract database management

You :

You will be a UK or Commonwealth qualified Solicitor, trained at a reputable firm. You will have experience drafting a variety of commercial contracts, and providing advice on data privacy and/or IP. You will be a fast learner, commercially minded and eager to grow within the business.
