A leading international law firm based in the city is looking to hire a HR Assistant on a permanent basis, in a role which offers lots of breadth and scope for progression.

The HR Assistant will provide a full administrative service to the HR team, assisting in a wide range of areas including learning and development, recruitment and benefits.

The key duties will include:

  • Coordinating the onboarding process for new starters
  • Following the probation period for new starters and ensuring completion letters are prepared
  • Ensuring updates are made to the HR system
  • Assisting the firm with travel arrangements
  • Supporting the law vacation schemes
  • Administering the company’s benefits schemes
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any HR, benefits or payroll related enquiries

The HR Assistant will have at least a years’ HR experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment with a strong working knowledge of HR best practice. Excellent organisational skills will be required as will the ability to work across a wide range of activities in a fast-paced environment.
