Would you like to join a leading mid-sized law firm based in Birmingham and work in their successful costs department?
Our client is a well-regarded law firm based in the centre of Birmingham and are now looking to recruit an additional law costs draftsman. The current team includes a costs lawyer, a law costs draftsman and a legal assistant, who also form a sub-group to the larger personal injury and clinical negligence department.
You must have experience working as a law costs draftsman as your key duties will include, but will not be limited to;
- Preparing detailed costs budgets
- Preparing detailed bills of costs
- Schedules for agreement
- Estimates of costs, statement of costs for summary assessment and legal agency claim forms
- Lodging/submitting bills and claims, preparing points of disputes, along with key costs related duties
You must have experience working in a claimant, law costs draftsman position in order to be successful for this role.
