In House Senior Legal Counsel – London – Part-Time / Flexible Hours
McKenzie Douglas are representing a market leading business
A newly created position has come about as a result of the success and anticipated growth for this part of the business.
Accountabilities
You will be responsible for particular segment of the business and report to the Head of Legal. You will work closely with stakeholders and provide them with strategic advice as well as other senior members of the business.
You will be given autonomy to handle your own workload and have an active involvement in the direction of the division. The responsibilities are broad including general commercial as well as ad hoc corporate governance, risk, compliance, employment and IP matters. This might suit a generalist commercial lawyer.
It is crucial for the candidate to have international exposure and sound knowledge / experience in outsourcing – must be demonstrated from previous roles.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor – would suit a candidate 6 – 8 years ideally
- Outsourcing experience – Ideally Facilities Management sector but will welcome applications from other sectors
- A solid background in commercial law – ideally a generalist
- International exposure
- In-House experience (secondment or more)
- Eligible to work the in the UK
Remuneration Package & Hours
