Casualty EL/PL Partner

An EL/PL Solicitor Partner is wanted for a fantastic opportunity with a national defendant law firm based in Manchester. Salary is paying circa 80k depending on experience.

My client is an award winning defendant insurance law firm with a fantastic reputation in the market acting for local authority & insurer clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an EL/PL Solicitor Partner to manage a caseload of Catastrophic EL/PL files whilst managing a small team of litigators. The client base will be local authority and public sector clients so you must have defendant experience to be successful. Ideally a following of relationships would be advantageous but not essential.

Candidates must have the ability to run a high value EL/PL caseload from start to finish and you will have proven experience of developing a team. You will have excellent communication skills, in person, on the telephone and in writing and organisational skills to a very high standard. You will be committed and self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.

Applications are invited from Solicitors, Associates and Partners with at least 6 years experience of running a litigated defendant complex EL/PL caseload on behalf of local authority or public sector clients. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have previous experience handling a large caseload of matters using a Case Management System
