Our client is a well known PLC business in the manufacturing sector with its headquarters based in Westminster, London. As business activity increases, they wishe to hire an additional corporate lawyer with at least 6 years PQE to undertake a full service, multidisciplinary inhouse legal role. The position would suit someone currently working inhouse who is looking for a step up or a corporate lawyer from private practice (with secondment experience) who wants to make hisher first move inhouse. Some inhouse experience is preferred for this opportunity, as is solid corporate transactional experience. Experience of corporate reorganisations, competition, procurement and HSE law would be advantageous. This is a fast paced business and will suit a lawyer who is a team player, with a high level of emotional and cultural intelligence. There will be a requirement to travel (mostly day trips within the UK). A cooperative attitude and good interpersonal skills are a must.
