Assistant Lawyer in a commercial property position. Commercial property / landlord and tenant.
Client Details
Our Client is a housing association with a large development and management portfolio, currently managing around 100,00 homes across London and the South East.
Description
The role is broad in scope and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in an excellent range of work including property development, planning agreements, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, commercial agreements and drafting policy and procedure.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a 3 to 5 year PQE lawyer with past experience dealing with property law, landlord and tenant and development work.
Experience of dealing with planning, energy and/ or construction matters would be welcomed although this is not essential. The role would suit an ambitious candidate either looking to make a move from an existing in-house property role or to move away from private practice into an in-house role within a dynamic and growing organisation. The role will enable the candidate to simultaneously gain exposure to excellent quality legal work within the development sector within a friendly and supportive team but also the unique opportunity to work for a not-for-profit in the housing sector.
