The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, pro-active Lawyer to join our clients’ flourishing practice near Harlow. Ideally with prior experience in Criminal / Regulatory defence and/or Litigation; the successful Lawyer will work closely with one of the firms’ partners, handling a demanding caseload encompassing specialist regulatory disputes and defence of companies and individuals. Aptitude and potential are regarded as being as important as relevant prior experience. Additional involvement in business development, including building client relationships will form an essential part of the position.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or fee-earning Paralegal from NQ – 3 years’ PQE with solid experience gained within a well-regarded Criminal/Regulatory and /or Litigation department.
You will have excellent technical skills with additional Regulatory experience being desirable.
You will possess first class client care and communication skills across all levels.
You will be IT literate, with exceptional attention to detail.
You will be familiar with time recording procedures, the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct.
Strong academics are preferred (excellent writing skills are essential).
A full clean driving licence is preferable (but not essential).
