Commercial Solicitor

A top regional firm and they are currently seeking an experienced Commercial & Technology Solicitor 2-5 years PQE to join the team based in Reading.  This Commercial & Technology department is one of the most innovative and they are Legal 500 Chambers listed for their work.

In this role, you will be involved in a variety of interesting and challenging deals by providing clients with external counsel, on a variety of contractual negotiations. The firms works with clients across the technology & Innovation, Digital media, manufacturing, healthcare and service sectors and the team has built up an excellent reputation for delivering a quality service with much of its business is referred.

The firm are looking to recruit a lawyer with circa 3 years PQE commercial experience gained from a respectable law firm. On offer is a competitive package, training, career development and excellent work.
 

Skills and Responsibilities

• Experience of running their own caseload and be able to demonstrate a highly commercial and practical approach to providing legal advice.
• The candidate must have a range of commercial contracts experience (including, ideally, in the technology sector), good communication and organisational skills, strong academics and come from a background with a firm that has a strong reputation.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent academic record and trading with a leading city, national or regional firm is required
• Ability to demonstrate client relationship communication and organisational skills
• Ability to progress work quickly
