I'm working with a friendly and well structured company with a very successful Defendant Industrial Disease department that is currently looking for an experienced Industrial Disease Solicitor.

They deal with both Industrial Disease and Employers Liability encompassing both Long Tail (Deafness, Asbestos etc.) and Short Tail (RSI, WRULD etc.) claims. The role will therefore see you handling a large autonomous caseload of both Long Tail and Short tail Disease and Employers Liability claims. Thus you will have previous experience, ideal is NQ - 2 years, (minimum of 12 months if an extended seat or prior Paralegal experience in ID), in handling a caseload of Industrial Disease files ideally covering both Long tail and Short Tail matters.

Experience in dealing with Long Tail claims such as Deafness is an essential requirement for the role whereas experience in dealing with Short Tail matters is merely an advantage. Defendant experience is preferable however candidates from a claimant background with a real desire to act on Defendant claims are also encouraged to apply. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for you to progress on to dealing with a wider and more diverse range of claims.

The team boasts a vibrant and social environment with clear and generous progression opportunities and offer full, continuous training and support on hand from day one to help you achieve your potential.

Salary will be commensurate with experience (up to £35k) and the firm also offer full benefits.
