Summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced Revenue Controller with either a law firm or chambers background to work as a member of the team responsible for the management of a Case from inception through to billing and fee collection. This requires a sound knowledge of systems, time recording, WIP, Billing and the Credit Control processes.
The successful candidate will work with the Fee Earners to implement changes to existing working practices and initiate improvements in the use of the Case Management software, to effectively manage the case inception, time recording and WIP, to encourage prompt billing and improve debt recovery procedures.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience of Billing and Credit Control functions
- Good systems knowledge, especially Case management systems
- Experience of Management reporting, including CRM analysis for Business Development and Marketing
- Experience of Time Recording functions
- Experience of WIP and billing parameters
- Good understanding of the business processes involved
- Knowledge of Legal Aid
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Excellent organisation skills
- Professional attitude with good client relationship building skills
- Attention to detail
- Good team player
Desirable:
- Experience in Family Law billing and/or credit control
