An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Conflicts Analyst for a US law firm.

The firm is one of the big hitters in America and has an extremely successful London office, even though it only opened in London a few years ago, it has already won a number of awards. The firm has a mainly corporate practice including financial services, M&A, private equity, funds, restructuring and tax.

The Conflicts team in London is expanding and this is a newly created Conflicts Analyst role. The team in London works really closely with the team in the US, while maintaining autonomy over the UK and Europe regions. The Conflicts Analyst can look forward to conducting research and analysing the results, having a high level of responsibility clearing conflicts if they arise and advising the business on the most commercial option.

The ideal Conflicts Analyst candidate is expected to have around 2-3 years conflicts experience from a similar international law firm with similar clients and transactions. This is anticipated to be a Magic or Silver Circle firm or another US firm, but they are keen to hear from candidates with conflicts experience from other backgrounds as well. Any experience with the US conflicts would be an advantage, but is not essential for the role.

Once people join this firm they very rarely leave! Not only is remuneration excellent, there is a great benefits package on offer and a discretionary bonus and hours are fairly standard. They really value their staff and offer fantastic training and continuous development opportunities and they like to promote from within.

Please note this role may also include being sent to the US for training and some travel to overseas offices to give training on conflicts.
