Russian Speaking Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support on contract, commercial, corporate (including M&A), employment and immigration law matters
• Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute all contracts, including but not limited to: non-disclosure agreements, sales and purchasing agreements, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, public procurement framework agreements, distribution agreements and quality agreements
• Serve as the main point of contact within the organisation on contractual matters
• Provide recommendations on all contracts and negotiate directly when necessary until consensus is achieved, negotiating with other parties and attorneys where necessary
• Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration
• Provide legal advice with various European jurisdictions (France, Spain, Italy, etc.)
• Represent the company in court if necessary

Skills and Experience:

• LLB qualification
• Experience as a lawyer in a commercial/corporate environment
• Strong understanding of contract law and standard terms, ability to assess commercial and legal risks
• Corporate M&A experience, experience of complete or partial company restructuring within the holding is desirable
• Demonstrated ability in negotiating and drafting complex corporate transactions, working with key senior stakeholders;
• Experience in assisting business domestically and overseas
• Excellent knowledge of English law with ability to work with other European jurisdictions;
• Strong drafting and negotiating experience
• Excellent communication, teamwork and negotiation skills, good attention to detail
• Experience with drafting commercial contracts
• Fluent Russian and English, both written and verbal
